WOOL

Greasy Wool

Raw, unprocessed sheep wool is carefully collected, sorted and packed into bales for further processing.

Scoured Wool

Fleece wool in loose fibre form that has been cleaned to remove grass, grease and other impurities.

Wool Fibre Balls

Wool which has been converted into a ball form, used to give an even distribution for filling pillows, pet beds, and other soft furnishings.

Machine Washable Wool

For hard-working products which need easy care, we alter the fibre to allow for machine washing without shrinking.

Wool Tops

Fleeces which are combed into a sliver, mostly used for high-quality yarns and fabrics.

SPECIALITY FIBRES

Alpaca

Did you know that an estimated 100 Tons of Alpaca fibre is grown in the UK each year?

Using locally produced Alpaca fibre ensures that the highest standards of animal husbandry are met, and the carbon footprint can be significantly reduced. Coming in an array of unique shades, Alpaca fibre is soft, lustrous and amazing at keeping you warm.

Mohair

Yarn made from the hair of the Angora Goat, Mohair is both resilient and durable. Warm in Winter and cool in Summer, this fibre has excellent insulating properties.

Camel

Known for being super soft, Camel wool is finer than most sheep wool, and with the correct processing techniques can feel just as soft as Cashmere. Coarse guard hair is removed from the fine hair using a mechanical separation process, and can be used as a warm and resilient filling material.

PLANT FIBRES

Kapok Fibre

Kapok fibre is a pure and natural, non-food, vegan product. Developing the production of this material in the countries where kapok trees grow, helps to regenerate communities and develop economic prosperity - as well as having a positive impact.

Kapok is 5x lighter than cotton, and requires no extra water or pesticides to grow, giving it amazing insulation properties and a sustainable means of production.

TEXTILE WASTE

We help make sure nothing goes to landfill by taking textile waste from every stage of the manufacturing chain, and bringing it to people who can repurpose it into beautiful and innovative products of their own.
